I am… the law! Drop your weapons!

This Post is dedicated to one of my Childhood heroes … The 2000AD Character Judge Dredd

I remember back in 1996, When i saw the Movie for the first time, and i heard Sylvester Stallone mind blowing words “Iam … The LAW” which you will see in the video part below, just watch his mouth while he say it .. amazing !!!!

Since that moment i fell in love with the character, The story line, and the comic it self… really amazing comics, and a more amazing strong appearance in the movie, i know most of you hate it, or even hate Sylvester Stallone, but just watch his mouth while he say it… he couldnt have acted it better .

Judge Dredd was selected by Empire magazine as the 7th greatest comic character of all time

Dredd is a law enforcement officer in a violent city of the future where uniformed Judges combine the powers of police, judge, jury and executioner. Dredd and his fellow Judges are empowered to arrest, sentence and even execute criminals on the spot.

am writing this because the new Dredd Movie just started shooting 🙂 , i just cant wait till they finish … i hope its as amazing as the comics 🙂

Has Islam Failed?
Not by Western Standards

By MICHAEL NEUMANN

We hear over and over again that Islam has failed, that it is in crisis. The claims always involve comparing Islam to something else, though to what is often unclear. If ‘failed’ just means ‘hasn’t kept up with the West’, Islam has indeed failed. So has every other culture, except to the extent it has Westernized. And if a culture fails whenever it falls behind the economic or technological front runners, Italian culture has failed in relation to Japanese or American culture.

But if ‘failed’ means something else, what is that? Bernard Lewis says: “In the course of the twentieth century it became abundantly clear that things had gone badly wrong in the Middle East–and, indeed, in all the lands of Islam. Compared with Christendom, its rival for more than a millennium, the world of Islam had become poor, weak, and ignorant.” He also tells us that “Arab” nations rank poorly on a scale of “economic freedom”.

Quake Live public beta opens next week

Having being in the closed beta stages for months, the gaming masses will finally be able to get in on the Quake Live action on February 24 when the beta goes public.

According to the official site, public beta registrations will open this Tuesday in what is likely to be a significant server stress test. Players will be able to experience frantic gameplay in over 30 maps, participating in classic game modes such as Free For All, Team Deathmatch and Capture The Flag.

id Software announced Quake Live (formerly Quake Zero) back in 2007 as the free, web browser based equivalent of Quake III. Live retains the same image, feel and precision that has made Quake III a popular online title throughout the past decade.

Although the game is only currently playable in Windows, John Carmack is keen to bring the browser based shooter to both OS X and Linux systems.

Those of you waiting for a taste of Quake Live don’t have to hold out much longer. The official site has announced that open beta registrations will start next Tuesday, February 24. The beta will likely stress test the servers, with the added benefit of generating word-of-mouth for id on their browser-based experiment. For those not familiar, Quake Live is a free, ad-supported version of Quake 3: Gold that runs in Web browsers. While many predict that future generations of gaming will be similarly downloaded and streamed through the magic of the Interwebs, id is giving that theory a trial run with the title. This may be a look at what the future holds for PC gaming, so be prepared to try it for yourself next Tuesday.

Halo Wars XBOX360-GLoBAL [Region Free]

GLoBAL have just released a much anticipated game for the Halo fans out there, its Halo Wars which is a Real time strategy game that is set 20 years before the first original Halo game. Personally i cant play RTS games on Xbox360/without a mouse and this game is only due out on Xbox360 so that means no PC release (Maybe in the future but nothing yet). Region free for all to enjoy!

A strategy game based on the Halo universe, Halo Wars immerses you in an early period of the storied Halo universe, allowing you to experience events leading up to the first Halo title. With the guidance of Serina, a spirited artificial intelligence (A.I.) persona, direct legions of UNSC soldiers, Warthogs, Scorpions, and more, each group having its own strengths and uses in battle. Adventurous commanders can also call upon ancient Forerunner technology, if they are fortunate enough to find it hidden throughout the battlefield.

In campaign mode, command the armies of the UNSC warship Spirit of Fire, with familiar and new UNSC units in its initial encounters against the Covenant, an alien coalition threatening to obliterate mankind. Covenant forces are also waiting for you to lead them into battle in multiplayer skirmishes via the New Xbox Experience. Call upon an arsenal of new and familiar Covenant units such as Grunts, Elites, Ghosts, and even Scarabs to defeat foes on the battlefield.

General Features

  • Groundbreaking Xbox 360 strategy game: Since inception, Halo Wars was explicitly designed to bring a typical PC genre to console gamers. Commanding armies is easy, controlling troops and units effortless, and epic battles are smoothly handled using an intuitive user interface. Halo Wars represents the true next-generation experience, combining a masterful control scheme with the award-winning strategic gameplay only developers Ensemble Studios can provide.
  • Strategic command of armies in large-scale combat: Gamers are in command of the battlefield, playing as either of two unique civilizations: UNSC or Covenant. Counter and crush your opponent by tactically fielding the superior army. Choose among leaders possessing elite skills that can turn the tide of battle. Use various combinations of leaders and units, and create countless strategies tailored to your preferred playing styles.
  • New take on a legendary world: Experience the early battles between the UNSC and Covenant, in a time predating Halo. Join the crew onboard the Spirit of Fire, a Phoenix-class colony ship converted for UNSC military use, and guided by the A.I. persona Serina. Discover an ancient artifact during a journey to the planet Harvest, the first planet to be attacked by the Covenant. And then get ready for the wars.

Activate Free 6 Months Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 Chinese Key Code on English Setup

900 Keys For kaspersky Internet Security and kaspersky Antivirus V.6-7-8.To.2009-2011

kaspersky Antivirus 8.0 + kaspersky Internet Security 8.0 -11-4-2009 keys

A week ago Kino, a member of the forum from China shared a tip on how to obtain a free 6 months Kaspersky Antivirus 2009 key. Honestly I didn’t know how I missed that thread but I got to know about it when someone posted a comment on this blog. The deal is Kaspersky is giving out 50000 license key everyday and you’ll have to activate the license before 1st of April 2009.

The steps to get the activation code is very simple. Just enter your email address in the form, click submit and the code will be instantly delivered to your email. Problem is the code can only be used on Chinese version of Kaspersky AntiVirus 2009 (kav8.0.0.506sch.exe or KAV8.0.0.506sch.zip). If you try to activate the code on the English version of KAV 2009, you’ll get an error saying “Activation code is not compatible with this application. It is impossible to activate Kaspersky Anti-Virus using the activation code for another application. Please, check your product.
Activation code is not compatible with this application. It is impossible to activate Kaspersky Anti-Virus using the activation code for another application. Please, check your product

You can of course download the Chinese language of Kaspersky and hit Shift + F12 to change the interface to English (which will be reverted back to Chinese after reboot) but today I will show you how to get the genuine kaspersky key, and how easy it is to do the “impossible” by activating any language of KAV 2009 using the activation code that is meant for Chinese version.

Follow the steps below to get your free 6 months Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 activation code:

1. Go to http://li.kaba365.com/

2. Enter your email at the form and click the button.
Kaspersky Key 6 Months

3. Type the exact verification code that you see and click the button on the bottom left.

4. Click Cancel if you receive a popup that looks like the image below.
Kaspersky Key Cancel Button

5. Check your email address that you’ve entered in step 2. You should receive an email from noreply@pcstars.com.cn with the subject ????????????2009?????. Note down the 25 digit Kaspersky activation code.

If you haven’t install Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009, you download it from here. After installation, make sure you select “Activate later” when asked to activate the application. Finish up the configuration and restart your computer.

To activate the chinese activation code on English version of Kaspersky Antivirus 2009.

1. Right click at Kaspersky icon at the icon at the notification area and select Settings.
Right Click Kaspersky Tray Icon

2. Go to Options and “uncheck” Enable Self-Defense. Click OK to close the settings window.
Disable Kaspersky Self Defense

3. Right click at Kaspersky icon at the notification area and select Exit.

4. Go to C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009\Skin\loc and rename the folder from en to sch.

5. Go to Start > Run , type regedit and click OK.

6. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KasperskyLab\protected\AVP8\environment

7. Look for the Localization name and double click on it. Change the value data from en to sch. Close the Registry Editor.
Kaspersky Localization

8. Run Kaspersky Antivirus either from desktop or start menu and you’ll be prompted to activate the application.

9. Select Activate online and enter the 25 digit activation code that you got earlier.

10. Voila! You should see that it’s sending the data to Kaspersky server and will then tell you that the key is successfully installed with the expiration date 6 months ahead.
Activated Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009

Well, it is amazing that Kaspersky is giving out 50,000 activation codes everyday but unfortunately those keys are “trial” keys and not commercial. There is one drawback on trial key which is IF you’ve previously activated the 30 days trial or other promotional trial license, you won’t be able to use this license. Kaspersky application only allows you to activate the trial license ONCE. Uninstalling and reinstalling won’t allow you to activate trial license more than once unless you know how to do kaspersky trial reset by deleting some registry keys which won’t be discussed here.

Why become a terrorist? — the terrorism cycle

Hello,

Before i write this post, i want to make a disclaimer that i do NOT in any way or method approve terrorism, this post is what i think is one of the main reasons why there are terrorists in this world.

I have been thinking about this lately, and the main reason i came up to is related to my previous post. The reason that their voices were never heard by anyone for so long that simply they took matters into their own hands.

How this relate to the previous post, well simply because “not talking to them” is to me seems the reason why they are increasing, and the irony that many countries think and uses that method to fight terrorism while it is simply the reason of creating more terrorism.

Think about this situation, you are in a classroom full of kids, and the kid behind you is bigger than you or same size and he keeps kicking you chair. You will get annoyed, so you will simply ask the teacher to stop that kid. Now if the teacher didn’t listen, you may withstand the annoyance a little bit more, especially if that kid is bigger than you. But then you may try asking the teacher again and again, but if she keeps refusing to help you or ignoring you, at the end you will snap and attack that kid yourself even if that will end up in you getting beaten up to just inflict a little bit of pain on that kid. Just like a bully, many when they snap will prefer to hit the bully a little bit and getting beating up, rather than keep getting small doses of beating up all the time. (This is exactly how I see Hamas and Israel).

Now think about the terrorists, first thing I need to make sure that people understand that terrorists are NOT stupid people who hate freedom and like to kill and destroy anything is good. Terrorists are PEOPLE who usually fight for their BELIEVES (of course i am talking about specific kind of terrorists like Bin Laden or other “terrorists” in Iraq or Afghanistan, not like the pirates of Somalia or anyone who did it for money)

Now terrorists before becoming terrorists, they are ordinary people, but then events like the Danish cartoons happen, now those people will get furious which is normal, and i guess all of you saw how furious those people got (The normal citizens). Now the people’s first reaction is demonstrations in the hope that their countries will tell the other country to “cut it out”. Now if their country didn’t listen they will still be pissed, but maybe they will calm down after a while since there is no real alternative. But when things like that keep happening, like the reposting of the cartoons, or pictures of abu graib surfacing, people will get angry again, and again they will try their governments. After a while people will lose hope of their country to stand up for them, and some of those angry people will naturally posses some leadership skills which is normal since many people are pissed, so at least some will have that skill. So this group will announce to people some way or another that they will be the alternative representative of them that will actually LISTEN to them and stand up for them instead of their ignoring official representatives. You can guess who that group is that provides the alternative.

That’s how a terrorist become a terrorist, and keep calling him a terrorist will simply worsen things, because it will only increase his anger and you may even anger other benign citizens who are furious in general, but not furious enough to join the group but in the same time not completely against this group. Calling them terrorists means looking down at them which will make them and other people more furious which will feed the cycle over and over.

That’s how i believe terrorist are produced. I thought about this mainly because almost ALWAYS whenever someone in America asks me whether my country like or dislike America or Israel, i ALWAYS has to say, “well, the government do that, but the people do something else.” this alone is very annoying, to always have to distinguish between the people and government like they are not representative of each other. This alone seems substantially wrong, there shouldn’t be that huge gap between these two parties, and eventually the gap will be big enough for a revolution to occur like we can see in some countries like Sudan or even Mauritania or even a little bit in Iraq and the Kurds.

P.s: I called terrorists terrorists in this post because i can’t think of another less biased word. but i am sure that terrorism, like almost everything else, is relative to the person, as the famous saying, one’s terrorist is another’s freedom fighter.
